A fragile relationship?

God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

(1 Corinthians 1:8)

This week I began to think that my relationship with God is a fragile thing. However, after examining God's word, I have come to believe that our relationship with God is anything but fragile. Paul's words to the church in Corinth are a reminder to us that our God is faithful. Our God is exactly as He is described in the Bible, and in that way He is faithful to His word.

So, if you sense that your relationship with God is fragile, do what I am doing. Examine what you are doing to make the relationship seem fragile. Our actions, not God's actions, create a sense of fragility. Our God is strong. He seeks and yearns for a personal relationship with all off us. God is a solid rock, a foundation upon which we can build our lives. He is not fragile - we are the ones that are fragile.
