About me

Accomplished professional with experience in project management, proposal development, and educational assessment. Successfully managed large corporate projects and large-scale, multi-million-dollar assessment programs. Written more than 90 proposals to state education agencies, school districts, and federal agencies in the United States. Works with stakeholders collaboratively, communicates requirements effectively, resolves issues promptly, and leads projects successfully.

I started this blog in 2009, then took a hiatus from 2014 to 2023. Over the years I've written about assessment, education, mathematics, leadership, and my faith. My mission is to help educators understand how large-scale assessments are developed and how to use the resulting data to improve student achievement.
